'SOS+ Primary school Gangs session'

St. Giles Trust, who are funded by the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner, delivered the 'SOS+ Primary school Gangs session' to Year 4 - 6 on Thursday 25th November.

The SOS+ Primary Gangs session is specifically tailored to a Key Stage 2 audience to prevent and deter students from gang involvement, criminal activity and exploitation. The session challenged the glamorised image of gangs and some of the negative attitudes young people have surrounding authority.

Meet the Stinkers

Year 5 and 6 were visited by POP (Primary Outreach Promotion) to present: ‘Meet the Stinkers’.
The children enjoyed an interactive play, which gave the pupils the tools needed to be able to make informed decisions around the topic of smoking, as well as highlighting the importance of peer resilience.

Year R Herb Garden

Year R have planted some herbs for our little garden. They have grown so much and we have talked about how living things grow. The children are eager to smell them and hopefully when they grow a little more, we can cook with them too!

:)

Thank you to Year R parents!

A BIG thank you to Year R parents for bringing in the children's lovely garden crafts.
They have their pride and place on our feature wall and look amazing.

We have bird feeders, scarecrows and lots of lovely wind-chimes. :)
