Democracy

Year 6 had fun debating whether children should have to wear school uniform. We discussed democracy and  why secret ballots are more accurate than open votes as we are not influenced by each other. The children talked about the importance of respecting each others opinions and that the majority vote needs to be respected. We also found out that the wording of a question is very important to ensure that we are voting for the correct thing.
