Year 5 and 6 Girls Football

On Tuesday 10th October 2017, 8 students from years 5 and 6 went to Goodwin Academy in Deal for a Girls Football competition. We were in the first match [on our pitch] against Kingsdown B. I managed to get one in just after kick-off. This was followed by a fantastic side goal from Chloe and another one from me,which made the game finish 3-0. After that game we got a well deserved two-game rest.Our second match was against Sibertswold. After a tight squeeze I managed to get a goal tightly followed by another.The game ended 2-0 to us and then another one-game rest.Our third and final match of the first round was against White Cliffs.After alot of attacking and defending we could only get a score of 0-0.

We all had a brilliant day. Thank you to all the teachers for helping out and encouraging us!
