Year 3 Ancient Greek Day
On Wednesday 27th March 2019, Year 3 visited Dover Museum to learn more about their Ancient Greek topic. Their first activity was an acting workshop, in which they used their bodies to portray Greek monsters such as Medusa and to act out the story of Pandora's Box.
They then had a session in which they were able to investigate different Greek artifacts and create their own ideas of how the objects would have been used.
During the afternoon, they were able to look around the museum and listened to an interesting talk about the Bronze Age Boat. Year 3 had a great day and earned some points for their class reward chart due to their excellent behaviour.
